 Supply chain companies can either be invited to tender or can simply
search for relevant projects. Contractors will specify the type
of work involved and will invite specific suppliers to tender.
When supply chain companies register they can specify which areas
of the construction industry they specialise in. This is a benefit
to them as many contractors only know their suppliers for one or
two specific services when they may be able to offer many more.
Once registered, supply chain companies can then download those
documents that are relevant to their part of a project and, once
they have costed the job, can upload their quote ready for the contractor
to view immediately.
